Registration procedure

Your registration will be handled in co-operation with HortiLink. Your registration becomes only valid after we have received your full registration fee, free from all international bank transaction charges. When registering online, you can choose different participation options you want to register for. Connecting prices for your selected options will be automatically summarized and you will be guided to pages where you can supply your personal details and finally you will arrive in a online payment terminal. After finishing the registration procedure, you will receive automatically an e-mail with your registered details and your personal registration number. In general you pay to HortiLink and HortiLink will forward your payment towards Growing Media 2021 Symposium. You will receive a payment confirmation as soon as we have received your payment.

Cancellation / refund policy
If you want to cancel your registration, we kindly request you to send an e-mail to Registration.GrowingMedia2021@hortilink.nl. An administrative fee of € 50,- will be applied for any cancellation received. Applicable conditions are:  

• Cancellation before 1 June 2021: 100% of the registration fee will be refunded - € 50,- administrative fee;
• Cancellation before 1 August 2021: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded - € 50,- administrative fee;
• For cancelations made on or after 1 August 2021, no refund will be made. 
• If, for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, the conference is canceled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred 
• If the conference is canceled for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee, the conference shall not be held liable for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by conference registration.

• Sunday Afternoon

• Monday Morning

• Other days: Remote Standby

Accommodation

Hotel accommodation or travel arrangements are not included in the registration procedure. For suggestions, please find information here.

Accompanying Partner Program:

The Organizing Committee does not arrange an accompanying person program. Any accompanying persons are invited to join the welcome reception and can join the symposium dinner, tour or any other social event. Please contract registration if you want to register your accompanying person.

Letter of invitation
Upon request the secretariat will send a personal letter of invitation to any participant of the symposium. Such an invitation is only meant to help the participant raise travel funds and/or obtain a visa and will only be send after receiving full outstanding payment free from all international bank transfer charges.

Language
The official language of the symposium is English. There will be no translation.

Electrical Current
Belgium operates on 220-230 volts for electrical appliance. The frequency is 50-60 Hertz.

Liability
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants themselves. The organization does not accept any liability or responsibility for illness/death, or injury to or financial loss by any person attending this symposium, whatever the cause. 

Disclaimer

The organizing committee has the right for any reason beyond their control to alter or cancel, without prior notice, the conference or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to the conference. The Organizing Committee and the Conference Management shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expenditure or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration or cancellation.
